
Virtual Game Hour
Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: March 5, 2025
By registering for and participating in the Virtual Game Hour on March 27, 2025, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility

This event is open to all students in grades 3 through 5.

Participants must have access to a computer or tablet with internet and be able to join Zoom.
2. Participation & Fair Play
-
The event will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late participants may be denied entry into the Zoom session.

All players must use their own devices and participate individually.

Any form of cheating, including but not limited to using outside help or multiple accounts, will result in disqualification.
3. Prizes & Redemption
-
The top three winners will receive the following prizes:
🏆 1st Place: 2 free hours of tutoring + $10 gift card
🥈 2nd Place: 1 free hour of tutoring + $10 gift card
🥉 3rd Place: 45 minutes of free tutoring + $10 gift card

Free tutoring sessions must be redeemed by April 30, 2025. If not used by then, they will expire on December 31, 2025.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Automatic Registration for GooseChase Reading Challenge

All Virtual Game Hour participants will be automatically registered for our GooseChase Reading Challenge, running from April 1 – April 30, 2025.

This month-long challenge offers daily and weekly reading-related missions for students and their families to complete together.

Participation in the GooseChase Challenge is optional, and those who wish to opt out must notify the organizers via email after the Virtual Game Hour.
5. Technology & Responsibility
-
Participants are responsible for ensuring their device and internet connection are working properly before the event.

The organizers are not responsible for technical issues, connectivity problems, or any interruptions that may affect gameplay.
6. Privacy & Recording
-
The event may be recorded for promotional or educational purposes. However, student faces will not be shared and will be blurred in any public materials.

Personal information collected during registration will only be used for event-related communication.
7. Code of Conduct

All participants must engage respectfully with others. Any inappropriate behavior, including harassment or disruptive conduct, may result in removal from the event.
8. Organizer’s Discretion
-
The event organizers reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule the event if necessary.

All decisions regarding winners and disputes are final.
